Maguire & Hart was formed in 2007 by Vincent Maguire, EA and Ryan Hart, EA.

Vincent Maguire, EA

Vince started off as a young aspiring architectural student, moonlighting in a tax and accounting office back in 1992. Since then he has abandoned architecture as a potential profession, focusing instead on taxes and accounting for the last 20 years. In those years, he has dealt with almost every situation you can run into related to taxes or accounting...and yes, QuickBooks was still running on DOS when he first used it.

Vince is an Enrolled Agent and also holds a FINRA General Securities Registration (Series 7 & Series 66), a California Insurance License for Life and Health (#0C90965) and a California Real Estate Salesperson License. All of these allow him to offer specialized services through affiliated relationships.

But all of that is just a bunch of mumbo jumbo that does not really capture Vince as a professional or as a person...

Vince has many interests, some talents and an occasional moment of genius (like when he formed the Company with Ryan). Music and cooking are probably the two biggest passions for him, but he also enjoys aquariums, juggling, magic, B-17's and traveling...and Family and Friends are always welcome and around to enjoy his entertaining personality.

Ryan Hart, EA

Professionally, Ryan has been in the tax and accounting field since 2003. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from CSU Northridge in Accounting and he is also an Enrolled Agent...he is experienced in handling a plethora of tax and accounting issues, including individual and business tax returns, tax audits, and almost anything related to QuickBooks.

But Ryan is more than his professional skills...Ryan is also a musician, a golfer, a snow boarder and an amateur magician.

Ryan grew up taking piano lessons, which led to the guitar, the bass and at times, the drums. He enjoys recording original songs on his home studio equipment. In addition to playing music, he is a big fan of music in general, enjoying a good tune from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles, Neil Young, A Wilhelm Scream, Thrice, Incubus and Coldplay...to name a few of his favorite bands.

When he is not playing or listening to music, Ryan is enjoying sports. He follows and plays Basketball, watching his favorite team - the Lakers every chance he gets. As of late, Golf has been his game of choice to play. He loves the constant challenge to improve, and playing allows him to network with other professionals, as well as catch up with friends that also play.

David Fox

David has a long and varied professional career spanning more than 22 years...including owning and operating his own professional bookkeeping company for 9 of those years. David adds extensive knowledge and expertise in the business management arena...and he is awesome when it comes to tax preparation as well.

But enough about that...let's talk about the more interesting facets of David...

David thinks himself a bit of an amateur comic, loving to make people laugh with his jokes and impressions. Never shy to jump in front of the mic, David is a natural entertainer and presenter. These skills come in handy with his wife Anna and his three sons...Trevor (8 years old), Jackson (6 years old) and Nathan (5 years old). Keeping a sense of humor about things has seen David through many tough spots, both professionally and personally.

Of course, David also loves music...a must at Maguire & Hart...going to concerts and baseball games, as well as watching football, playing golf and constantly improving himself through business and personal development reading...fun stuff!

But seriously...David loves to make positive differences in people's lives...creating solid and cost-effective foundations, applying innovative thinking to recognize and capitalize on opportunities. David has the eerie ability to explain complicated and technical concepts to clients in such a way that they understand and appreciate. He is a perfect match for Maguire & Hart...not your average partner for a not-so-average tax and bookkeeping firm!
